Literature compilation studies in the field of health and lifestyle: Workshop 2

Instructions

Before Workshop 2 you shall document your search strategy and review someone else's. During the workshop, you will give feedback on each other's strategies.

1. Document your search strategy from one (1) subject database (use the SBU template).
2. Use the checklist (PRESS 2015) to review a fellow student's strategy.

The deadline for submission of your own search strategy is 13 November at 8.00 am.

Elements to be included in the search report

• Name of database
• Name of the database provider
• Date when the searches were carried out
• The exact search terms and what type of term it is, i.e. index terms or freetext, and which fields.
• Any limitations or filters used
• How the terms were combined with the boolean operators and eventual proximity operators listed
