If access to e-resources does not work, it can depend on various factors. Here are the most common errors and suggested solutions.
Make sure to start from the library’s webpage www.hh.se/library. From there, you can search for e-resources via OneSearch, a database or a journal and log in via the login box with your student- or staff account. If you search for the database or the article via a search engine (such as Google) and follow that link, the access is unlikely to work.
Clicking "Login" in OneSearch or "Your library account" from the library's homepage allows you to view your loans and reservations and make requests. This does not provide access to e-resources. For more information, see the page How does access to e-resources work? in this guide.
Check the spelling of your username and password and make sure Caps Lock is turned off. Your username should not include student@hh.se or @hh.se.
Click "Forgot password" via the login box (Ezproxy at Halmstad University) if you forgot your password.
If this does not work, please contact the university’s IT department at helpdesk@hh.se for assistance with your student- or staff account.
If you click on the ”HH logo – Check local full text” in a database and get redirected to the e-resources page at the library (OneSearch), and see the message “log in to make a request”:
Make sure you are connected to Eduroam from Halmstad university and not Eduroam from another university.
If none of the above steps works, please contact the library at biblioteket@hh.se so that we can look into the problem. Please include answers to these questions:
